Wooden Bed Designs: Chinioti, Italian, Modern and Classical Styles Explained

Short answer: the main wooden bed designs in Pakistan are the carved Chinioti bed, the classical bed set, the upholstered Italian bed, the wingback bed, the low platform bed and the modern panel bed. Carved designs suit large traditional bedrooms; upholstered and modern designs suit mid-sized rooms and apartments. Choose the bed size from your room's measurements first.

1. The carved Chinioti bed

Bed sizes in Pakistan

• Single — about 90 to 105 cm wide
• Queen — about 150 to 160 cm wide

Leave about 70 cm of walking space on both sides and at the foot. A king bed therefore needs a short wall of at least 340 cm.

Headboard height
