A traditional rocking chair in solid Sheesham with a caned back and a curved seat, sized for an adult rather than as a nursery piece. The rockers are laminated so the curve keeps continuous grain and cannot split at the ends, and the arc is set flatter than most, which gives a slow rock that suits a veranda rather than a fairground.

- Felt strips are fitted along the rocker faces as standard. On soft wood floors, a rug under the chair is still the safest option.
- How long does hand-woven cane last?
- Ten to fifteen years in normal indoor use. Cane can be rewoven when it eventually sags, and we offer that service at the workshop.
